Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Manager to join our team and contribute to the success of our exceptional properties in the Okavango Delta & Chobe Region. As a Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the general maintenance of electrical equipment across our camps, including solar plants, generators, water systems, and sewage treatment plants. Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of water pumps, boreholes, and wells. You’ll play a crucial role in managing water and power budgets, formulating upgrade recommendations, and overseeing maintenance projects. Your contribution will have a direct impact on the guest experience and the sustainability of our properties.
Key Responsibilities:
General maintenance of electrical equipment in camps (solar plants, generators, water systems, sewage treatment plants).
Servicing and maintenance of water pumps, boreholes, and wells.
Regular testing and recording of water levels.
Advising on equipment upgrades and improvements.
Managing water and power budgets for the camps.
Accepting responsibility for the equipment under your care.
Ensuring well-serviced generators and accurate record-keeping.
Coordination of work hours to minimize guest disruption.
Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and contractors.
Engaging with industry players to stay informed and connected.
Overseeing and executing maintenance projects.
Implementation of preventative maintenance measures.
Requirements:
Diploma or degree in electrical and mechanical engineering.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
Valid Driver’s Licence.
Valid PRDP Licence.
