Position Overview: As a Barman, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional beverage service to guests, ensuring a memorable experience while showcasing the estate’s exquisite wine offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including wines, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks.
Provide knowledgeable recommendations to guests regarding wine pairings and estate offerings.
Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Create a welcoming atmosphere for guests and provide excellent customer service.
Assist in inventory management and stock control of bar supplies.
Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a bar or beverage service role, preferably in a luxury hospitality environment.
Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, and cocktail preparation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
A passion for customer service and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Salary: R9,000 – R12,000, commensurate with experience.
