🔍 Position: Banqueting Coordinator
📍 Location: Cape Town (Live-Out)
Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Management: Plan and oversee weddings, conferences, and functions, ensuring seamless and high-quality execution.
  • Bookings & Administration: Manage all event bookings, payments, and related administration for smooth operations.
  • Marketing & Promotion: Collaborate on marketing strategies to maximise sales for banqueting services.
  • On-Site Presence: Oversee events on the day, ensuring standards are upheld and expectations exceeded.
  • Staff Development: Train and manage banqueting staff to maintain exceptional service standards.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all systems and standards are current and consistently deliver top-tier results.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Demonstrable success in managing banqueting operations, preferably in a luxury or high-end environment.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Word, Excel, Opera, and Microsoft Office.
  • Personal Attributes: Strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
  • Physical Fitness: Able to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for long hours and working shifts.
  • Knowledge: Basic understanding of financial management, sales, and quality control processes.
