What’s the role about?
As the Assistant Lodge Manager, you’ll be pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of the lodge. You will host guests, manage staff, and maintain the high standards of service excellence that the lodge is known for.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the day-to-day running of the lodge and ensure guests’ expectations are not just met but exceeded!
• Manage daily, weekly, and monthly administration with attention to detail.
• Oversee strict stock control and effective financial management through order administration.
• Handle staff conflict and guest complaints with a professional and cooperative approach.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with guests and lodge staff.

What are we looking for?

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in remote luxury lodge management with contactable references.
• Education: Relevant tertiary qualification in Hospitality or Tourism is advantageous.
• Skills: Strong background in Lodge Food & Beverage; familiarity with Office, Outlook, and booking systems.
• Languages: Exceptional communication skills in English and Afrikaans.
• Personal Traits: Hardworking, hands-on, with high standards of service excellence and a passion for the hospitality industry.
• Requirements: Valid driver’s license and reliable transport.
