Kendrick Recruitment is now hiring an Agent Sales Coordinator for a renowned safari company committed to delivering exceptional travel experiences and supporting conservation efforts. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a performance-driven team in Cape Town.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Sales Consultants by managing administrative and operational aspects of agent sales.
Confirm services upon agent confirmation and ensure adherence to internal procedures.
Verify invoices against quotes, addressing discrepancies with Sales Consultants.
Coordinate with the Finance Team for efficient deposit allocation to bookings.
Reconfirm bookings, including dietary requirements and room allocations.
Update systems with booking references and details at various stages.
Respond promptly to ad-hoc agent requests and proactively support colleagues during peak periods.
Participate in training, expanding knowledge of products, processes, and systems.
Requirements:
Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
Exceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
A proactive attitude and ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced sales environment.
Knowledge of sales and reservations systems; familiarity with East African safari sales is an advantage.
Package & Working Conditions:
Salary: R18,500 +/- per month.
Location: Cape Town office, Monday to Friday (08h00 – 17h00, with flexibility).
Overtime may be required during peak periods.
Compensation for working on South African public holidays with time off in lieu.
