Qualifications/Required Experience:
Grade 12/Matric
Certificate in Professional Cookery Diploma is essential
RSA Driver’s License
Computer literate
2 years’ experience in a similar position within a 4/5-star game lodge with contactable references
Previous experience on PANstrat will be an advantage

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Meal preparation for breakfast, lunch, dinner service, high tea, and conference/function catering.
Hygiene maintenance, quality and portion control, stock control, and wastage management.
Menu planning and placing orders when required.
Interaction with guests and providing exceptional service.
Training and leadership of junior chefs and scullery staff.
Assisting with food cost management and control.
Salary Offered:
