What’s the Role?
As a Senior Journey Specialist, you’ll manage the booking confirmation process, deliver outstanding service, and build strong partnerships with stakeholders. Your expertise will turn dreams into itineraries and partnerships into powerful collaborations.
Your Key Responsibilities
Booking Perfection: Oversee and complete the booking confirmation process on the company platform.
Client Whisperer: Deliver top-tier service to the Ops Specialist and stakeholders with seamless communication.
Relationship Builder: Cultivate deep partnerships with stakeholders, understanding their business trends and guest needs.
Destination Pro: Stay informed on suppliers and destinations to ensure mutually beneficial relationships.
Accuracy Champion: Maintain the financial and operational accuracy of all bookings.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
Matric certificate with Maths (minimum standard grade or higher).
Tertiary certification in Travel & Tourism/Hospitality (advantageous).
Experience:
4-5 years of senior experience in the inbound travel industry.
Proven track record in customer relationships, journey creation, and promoting products.
In-depth knowledge of Southern and East Africa.
Familiarity with TourPlan, WETU, or similar booking/operating systems.
Skills:
Organised, detail-oriented, and dynamic.
Thrives under pressure and delivers consistent results.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on accuracy and prioritisation.
Financial acumen and ethical integrity.
Exceptional time management and communication skills.
