Key Responsibilities
Guest Experiences: Lead thrilling game drives and bush walks, providing guests with a rich, educational, and exciting safari experience.
Conservation & Education: Share your deep knowledge of local flora, fauna, and ecosystems to help guests understand and appreciate nature while contributing to conservation efforts.
Field Guide Duties: Follow all lodge protocols, ensuring guest safety and exceptional service during activities.
Guest Interaction: Create personal connections with guests, ensuring their stay is memorable and providing expert advice on wildlife and the area.
Requirements
FGASA Level 2 or Higher: A minimum of FGASA Level 2, with Advanced Trails Guide and First Aid as desirable qualifications.
Experience: Previous experience in a luxury lodge environment or similar is preferred.
Passion for Nature: A love for wildlife and a deep respect for conservation practices.
Strong Communication Skills: The ability to engage and educate guests while delivering excellent service.
Couple Role: Ideally seeking a couple where both guides have relevant qualifications and experience, though not limited to this.
