Kendrick Recruitment is thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for a talented Sous Chef to join a world-class Luxury Game Reserve near Grahamstown. If you’re passionate about culinary excellence and thrive in a stunning natural setting, this role is for you!
What’s on Offer:
Salary: R12,500 per month.
Position: Live-in role with accommodation provided.
Work Cycle: 3 weeks on / 1 week off.

Your Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations.
Assisting in menu creation, food preparation, and plating to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Conducting monthly stock takes and ensuring efficient stock management.
Understanding and implementing costing and control systems to maintain profitability.
Upholding the highest health and safety standards, including food hygiene practices.
Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and outstanding service.
What You’ll Need:
Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef, currently working under a Head Chef.
Qualification: A recognised culinary qualification.
Skills:
Fine dining experience preferred.
Strong understanding of costing and control systems.
Proven involvement in monthly stock takes.
Attributes: Passion for excellence, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dishes.
