Kendrick Recruitment have an exciting Management Couple role in the Sabi Sands.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Accountable for the overall running of the lodge, including guest experience, food, guiding experience, care, and maintenance of the lodge, financial and budget accountability, conservation of animals and land, and care and maintenance of assets.
Lead teams which include but are not limited to team management, induction of the team, coaching and team growth and development, ongoing performance management, and training of the team.
Ensure guiding and tracking standards are met or exceeded, and compliance of guides and trackers is maintained.
Management and Central Maintenance to ensure that central resources are effectively maintained and efficiently running all required areas.
Partner with various individuals and teams across the business, namely Lodge Management Team, Reservations teams, Suppliers, Finance team, Marketing team, and Guests.
Requirements:
No less than 5 years in a lodge management role or no less than 7 years’ experience as an assistant lodge manager, camp manager, relief manager, and or lodge anchor.
No less than 3 years’ experience in a 5-star South African based safari lodge.
Experience working in an area with dangerous game.
Experience working in a remote area.
Academic qualification – Hospitality diploma or degree or similar.
Driver’s license.
Ideally a lodge management certification.
