Position: Senior Sous Chef

Key Outputs:
👨🍳 Assist the Executive Chef in maintaining food standards for guests and staff.
📋 Implement kitchen standards and conduct regular visits to staff kitchen and canteen.
👩🍳 Develop and train staff, with a focus on the pastry department.
📚 Co-manage administrative duties and create seasonal menus.
🎨 Ensure food presentation aligns with the Styling Guide and &Beyond lodge food identity.
🔄 Improve all aspects of the food product on the property.
📦 Manage stock controls, ordering processes, and stock rotation.
🔧 Proactively maintain kitchen equipment.
📢 Communicate effectively with chefs, department heads, general manager, regional chef trainer, and suppliers.
🍽 Check all food going out to guests and maintain excellent interactions with guests.
🎓 Be a role model for good discipline and fair treatment in the department and lodge overall.
Qualifications & Experience:
👨🍳 Formal culinary qualifications and at least 2 years of management experience in a 5* operation.
🔍 Ability to work under pressure with consistent attention to detail.
🤝 Guest-focused, positive outlook, excellent team player, committed, hardworking, and eager to learn.
