We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join an exclusive resort in Mauritius, renowned for its luxury offerings and exceptional guest experiences. As the Food and Beverage Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the resort’s dining operations and ensuring the highest standards of service and quality.
Responsibilities:
Manage and lead the Food and Beverage department, including restaurants, bars, banquets, and in-room dining, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance the food and beverage offerings, catering to the diverse tastes and preferences of international guests.
Collaborate with the culinary team to create and update menus, focusing on delivering exquisite and unique dining experiences.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, hygiene standards, and licensing requirements.
Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, staff development, and exceptional service delivery.
Manage procurement and vendor relationships, ensuring the highest quality ingredients and products are sourced.
Drive revenue growth through effective cost control, pricing strategies, and maximising upselling opportunities.
Monitor and analyse financial performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary to achieve targets.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with guests, attending to their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
Stay up to date with industry trends, market demands, and customer preferences, incorporating them into the food and beverage offerings.
Collaborate with other departments to create integrated guest experiences and exceed guest expectations.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Manager in a luxury resort or hotel setting.
Extensive knowledge of food and beverage operations, including fine dining, banquets, and in-room dining.
Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
Strong financial acumen, with a track record of achieving revenue targets and managing costs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluency in French is essential.
Creative mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Familiarity with local regulations, health, and safety standards.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Single status, available to relocate to Mauritius.
