Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking an Online Marketing Consultant for an award-winning luxury hotel based in Umhlanga, KZN. This is an exciting role for someone who enjoys the online realms of marketing and is always keeping up with the latest trends in the industry.

Requirements

  • South African Matriculation certificate (or the equivalent thereof).
  • A Marketing Diploma would be an advantage.
  • Experience in Social Media is ESSENTIAL.
  • A network of Influencers would be an advantage.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft packages, e-mail, internet and social media.
  • Practical use of design programs would be an advantage.
  • Practical knowledge and proficiency in photography.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the daily maintenance of the company Facebook/Instagram/Twitter pages – taking photo’s if required and uploading them.
  • Working closely with the group’s Social Media strategy so that it falls in line with all properties
  • Liaison between the Hotels’ Media Manager, ensuring that press arrangements are booked and that awareness of the incoming media is communicated to all parties
  • Liaise with service providers when required
  • Prepare the Function Sheets for Media Visits, when required
  • Prepare the Media Kits for all Media Visits
  • Assisting Sales with Ad hoc projects, and assisting with a Sales Co-Ordinator role when required

Personal Traits:

  • Must be well presented and have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must have the ability to work independently and achieve targets
