Kendrick Recruitment is currently looking for an exceptional Payroll Administrator who is personable, detail orientated, and passionate about managing all aspects of payroll and time and attendance administration.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) with an HR qualification
  • Minimum five years’ previous experience in a similar role
  • At least 3 – 4 years’ working experience with Sage 300 software (compulsory)
  • Advanced knowledge and experience of working in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Reliable and trustworthy
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Meticulous and accurate

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality whilst working with employees’ personal information

Responsibilities:

  • Payroll processing of bi-weekly wages and monthly salaries for the Group of Companies
  • Prepare and submit monthly EMP201, UIF and Momentum reports timeously, ensure payments are made, and accounts are reconciled
  • Prepare and submit annual IRP5 and WCA/RMA returns
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding per the agreed company procedures on Sage People software
  • Maintain employee files utilising a database system and Sage People software
  • Gathering payroll-related data, including garnishments and other payroll deductions
  • Reviewing and calculating hours worked
  • Submitting payroll reports and timesheets timeously
