Kendrick Recruitment is currently looking for an exceptional Payroll Administrator who is personable, detail orientated, and passionate about managing all aspects of payroll and time and attendance administration.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric) with an HR qualification
- Minimum five years’ previous experience in a similar role
- At least 3 – 4 years’ working experience with Sage 300 software (compulsory)
- Advanced knowledge and experience of working in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Meticulous and accurate
- Hard-working individual
- Ability to maintain confidentiality whilst working with employees’ personal information
- Ability to work well under pressure
Responsibilities:
- Payroll processing of bi-weekly wages and monthly salaries for the Group of Companies
- Prepare and submit monthly EMP201, UIF and Momentum reports timeously, ensure payments are made, and accounts are reconciled
- Prepare and submit annual IRP5 and WCA/RMA returns
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding per the agreed company procedures on Sage People software
- Maintain employee files utilising a database system and Sage People software
- Gathering payroll-related data, including garnishments and other payroll deductions
- Reviewing and calculating hours worked
- Submitting payroll reports and timesheets timeously
