Kendrick Recruitment is now looking for a experienced Head Chef for a  Luxury 5* property based in the beautiful region of the Waterberg, Limpopo. The perfect candidate for this position must produces Pan African and everyday dishes that are tasty, healthy, perfectly prepared and well presented.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Experience in the 5* hospitality field
  • Chef School (or similar qualifications)
  • Qualification or experience in training
  • Basic Computer skills
  • Experienced in kitchen service and staff management
  • English speaking
  • Driver’s License essential

Here’s what you’d do:

  • Management of the kitchen and scullery departments
  • Maintain a distinctive, high quality Pan-African style of cuisine with seasonal, local ingredients
  • Monitor standards and carry out training as required
  • Financial, statistical and monthly reporting
  • Monitor staff overtime and casual costs
  • Work with the team and coach, train and support performance
  • Maintain a high level of hygiene in line with statutory requirements
