Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking a Boutique and Gallery Manager for a luxurious safari lodge based in the Kruger National Park. The main purposes of this role is to manage the staff, boutique and guest experience when they visit the store. You will be required to assist with the process of sales by providing an efficient, confident and friendly service. You will also be responsible for the administrative duties and procedural management of the store and training thereof for the team. The store needs to be neat, tidy and presentable at all times according to the set standards.
Strong guest relations and communication skills
A sense of style and creativity with attention to detail.
Strong administration skills – precious experience in procurement and stock control would be an advantage
Enthusiastic, passionate and informed about products on sale
Strong computer skills
Be present and available to attend to guests needs as and when required
Re-order and control stock, ensuring shrinkage is kept to a minimum
Ensure daily, weekly and monthly administration tasks are carried out
Manage and motivate the team constantly
Attend morning meetings to ensure effective communication between lodge and boutique
Recruit staff where needed for vacancies and ensure ongoing training and development of staff
